You can just make software now. Bitter Frontier is me keeping track of what that unlocks and what it breaks.

Role
Editor of Bitter Frontier

Michael edits Bitter Frontier. He builds bitter.sh on the same class of agents this publication covers, daily, which is where the watchlist came from: it is the set of tools he was already reading about every morning. He decides what a cycle covers and owns every editorial call in it.

The production method is unusual and worth stating plainly, because it is also this publication's thesis in practice. The research behind each issue is executed by the same class of coding agents the issues cover, running sweeps, cross-checks, and drafts under his direction, with the full run trails published in the open. The agents do the reading. The judgment of what reaches a page is his, and so is the record when that judgment was wrong: the corrections ledger is signed by the editor, not by the machinery.

If this publication quoted you and got it wrong, or you want a quotation of yours removed, the fastest route is @ruemic or an issue on the repository. The standing promise is in CONTRIBUTING.md: misquotations are fixed fast, removal requests are honored, and disagreements get argued in the open rather than quietly edited away.
